About Color Pet Products. Color Pet Products was founded over 10 years ago with the introduction of its premier line of bright color patterns of hand woven leashes, collars and harnesses called MAYA. In 2008, Color Pet Products was acquired by Steven Steinway, President/CEO of Preferred Products, Inc, a contract manufacturer and apparel decorator since 1985, and was move to Preferred's facility located in Walled Lake, MI. Now under Preferred's guidance and manufacturing capabilities, Color Pet is focused on building superior customer service and new products including Work'n Dog canvas leashes, collars, pet beds filled with new polyester ClusterFiber, "4 Paws Only" pet towels and reflective leashes and collars.
